All world Radio Station in one click

All world Radio Station in one click
Farm Radio International developed the Her Farm Radio (HFR) project with funding from IFAD, in response to recognized barriers facing rural women in accessing relevant agricultural information and in having their needs, experiences and questions shared on a wide-reaching communication platform. Women’s lesser access to radio sets and mobile phones, the paucity of rural women’s voices within rural radio programs, and the lack of on-air discussion of gender-related issues of importance to women all conspired to reduce the relevance of rural radio to female farmers. The project began in January 2015 and concluded at the end of June 2017.

Women carry out a substantial and growing part of the work on family farms and represent 43 per cent of the global agricultural workforce. In many parts of the world, women are more likely to work in agriculture than in any other sector. Much of this work is unrecorded, undervalued and unpaid. In addition, the challenges that are common to all family farmers are often exacerbated for rural women, impeding their ability to improve their own livelihoods and those of their families.

For women to have more meaningful contributions to farm management and decision-making, they must have consistent access to relevant and reliable agricultural information provided through easily available means that suit their daily lives and schedules. Further, women need to have opportunities to participate equitably in the conversations, sharing their own experiences, perspectives and needs. In many rural areas in East and Southern Africa, this is a major gap, yet the infrastructure exists to make this happen, in the form of radio and mobile phones. FRI has long worked with local radio stations and has evidence to show that programs which respect and include women farmers can give them confidence to ask questions, make decisions and support new practices within their family farm.

The innovative approach adopted in this grant was to build the capacity of female farmers to express their voices and advocate for their needs and rights through radio and mobile phones. Through greater awareness of gender issues, and targeted segments within radio programs, the project aimed to provide women with increased access to information critical to improving their livelihoods and helping them to be more resilient as a group or community.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • OnePlus 5 is currently available on Amazon India, OnePlus stores
  • It will now be available in Croma across the country
  • The retail outlet will begin selling it from September 19
The OnePlus 5 was launched in India in June this year, and it was made available on Amazon India, and the OnePlus store online. If you wanted to buy it offline, the only way you could do it was head over to the OnePlus Experience Stores in Delhi and Bengaluru. Now, in a bid to begin charting its offline presence in India, the company has announced that the OnePlus 5 will be made available in Croma retail outlets across India as well.

This is the first time OnePlus has collaborated with a retail outlet to sell its smartphones offline in India. The company first had an exclusive partnership with Amazon India, and then branched out the capacity to its official OnePlus online store. Only recently, did OnePlus launch its experience stores in the two cities, with a promise for expansion in more cities eventually. It also sets up pop-up stores in various cities during initial launch days for users to be able to try out the smartphone, and buy it there instantly. But that is usually a temporary affair, after which users had to rely on Amazon or OnePlus online store for the purchase of the smartphone. Now, for the first time, OnePlus will make its OnePlus 5 flagship available in Croma retail outlets across the country from September 19.

The OnePlus 5 price in India is Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, while those who want to purchase the model with 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage will have to shell out Rs. 37,999. WHATSAPP DELETE FOR EVERYONE FEATURES:- DELETE SENT MSG IN WHATSAPP

WHATSAPP DELETE FOR EVERYONE FEATURES:- DELETE SENT MSG IN WHATSAPP

WhatsApp will roll out a new update which will let users delete sent messages with an exciting new feature dubbed Delete for Everyone.

WhatsApp looks to be in the final testing stages with the servers now able to handle recalling messages that have already been sent.

WABetaInfo, a Twitter account focused on WhatsApp beta, revealed the news that Delete For Everyone is drawing near to its release date.

They said that Facebook-owned WhatsApp are currently testing the feature and that it will be “available soon”.

WABetaInfo said: “DELETE FOR EVERYONE FEATURE: WhatsApp is finally testing the Delete for Everyone feature: the server finally works and it successfully recalls the message.

“Also if the server works, this does not mean that the feature is currently enabled.

“It will be remotely enabled later, and seen that WhatsApp “enabled” their servers for the Delete for Everyone feature, it may really be enabled soon.”

In a later tweet they added once a message is deleted it will be removed from the Notification Centre.

The new feature, which is coming to iOS and Android, will be a huge boost for anyone who has ever sent a text message and immediately regretted it.

The feature has long been rumoured, with Express.co.uk reporting on the existence of it back in February.

Back then we revealed that WhatsApp were trialling the new feature within its iPhone beta software.

Those with access to the early beta release say the feature is disabled by default, meaning users have to know of its existence, and seek it out within the settings menu to enable it.

Pressing and holding on a sent message within the iOS version of WhatsApp now includes two new options in the small menu.

Edit will let you change the content of the message, while Revoke lets you pull the text from the conversation – as if it never existed.

Unfortunately, the ability to revoke your message will only work when the recipient hasn't seen the text.

WhatsApp can currently delete messages from your own device, however the deleted messages will remain visible to the recipients.

The new Delete for Everyone feature will reportedly allow users to recall all messages that have been sent within the last five minutes.

This includes text-based messages as well as those that include images, videos and GIFs.

Sent files with quoted messages and attached documents will also be able to be recalled, as will Status replies.

Unfortunately, there is a catch – only messages that have not yet been opened or read by the recipient can be recalled.

If the WhatsApp recipient reads the message or it falls outside that crucial five minute window, you’re going to have to deal with the fallout of whatever message you desperately tried to revoke.

Whatsapp new features: share any tyoe of files

Whatsapp new features: share any tyoe of files

So far you are sharing photos, videos, word documents and PDF files using WhatsApp. Files which were not available in WhatsApp support were uploaded first to the cloud to share files. Then there was a link to download for download. Apart from this, other options are available as soon as you want, you can share this file with somebody using Third Party Apparas. But now it seems that WhatsApp has decided that its users will no longer have to rush to share any files.

According to sources, the company is testing to transfer every file. This test is running in Android, iPhone and Windows Phone. After the new feature comes, any kind of file can be shared using WhatsApp.

It has been claimed that some users of India, Japan, Kuwait and Sri Lanka are using this feature but some users are still deprived of this feature. Hopefully WhatsApp will rollout this feature for every user in the future.

After this new feature comes, different video formats, MP3 songs and APK files can also be shared using WhatsApp. Using WhatsApp, you can share good quality videos and photos without having to worry.

It is worth mentioning here that more recently a feature is to be added soon to the Wootset, which allows users to transfer money.
